Recently, a 15-member delegation from the Smart Logistics Management Training Program, organized by the Ministry of Commerce of China and hosted by Shandong College of Foreign Trade, visited Bondex’s Chengdu branch for an exchange and study tour.

The delegation members represented key government authorities from Turkmenistan, including the Cabinet of Ministers, the Ministry of Road Transport, the Ministry of Railway Transport, and the State Customs Service. The visit focused on exploring the practical implementation of multimodal transportation and smart logistics solutions in China.

During the exchange session, Bondex’s business experts introduced the company’s overall operational strategy and cross-border transportation network across Central Asia. Leveraging Chengdu’s strategic advantages as a dual hub featuring both an international airport and railway port, the team shared operational experience in air-rail intermodal transportation and China-Europe freight train services.

The delegation was then given a demonstration of Bondex’s smart logistics integrated service platform, which visually showcased end-to-end cargo tracking throughout the entire logistics process, from origin departure and transit to final delivery.

To address common challenges in cross-border logistics, such as complex documentation and fragmented transportation procedures, Bondex highlighted its digitalized multimodal transportation solution featuring a “single document system.” By integrating electronic documentation across different transportation stages, the system helps break down operational barriers, enabling unified shipment management, streamlined procedures, and significantly improved efficiency in transit and customs clearance.

During the discussion session, the delegation engaged in in-depth exchanges with Bondex on topics including multimodal transportation system development and the application of digital documentation. Several officials from Turkmenistan noted that the visit provided them with a more practical understanding of multimodal transportation and digital logistics operations. They expressed their strong impression of Chengdu’s international logistics model and regarded the exchange as highly valuable.

Looking ahead, Bondex’s Chengdu branch will continue leveraging the combined advantages of China-Europe freight trains, air-rail intermodal transportation, and digital logistics services. The company will further explore practical cooperation opportunities in cross-border transportation, integrated customs clearance, and smart supply chain solutions, contributing to smoother and more efficient logistics connectivity between China and Central Asia.
