On May 9, Bondex successfully held its “AI Efficiency Improvement Program” in Qingdao. A total of 45 key employees from various business units and functional departments, together with external experts, gathered to explore new possibilities for AI-enabled business transformation under the theme of “Enhancing Efficiency Through Collective Intelligence and Driving Value Through Action.”
The program aimed not only to help participants master AI tools, but also to establish a shared understanding of AI-driven efficiency improvement across the organization. AI is no longer a distant concept—it has become an accessible digital partner that can empower daily operations and decision-making.
To achieve this goal, the project team analyzed 42 operational pain points collected from different business scenarios and identified six categories of efficiency-enhancing applications that can be replicated and scaled across the Group. These included automated information extraction for license and certificate management, human-AI collaborative review of customs documentation, and automation of routine data collection and reporting.
We believe that whenever a task is repeated multiple times, there is always room for improvement. By proactively identifying scenarios where AI can create value, employees can free up valuable time and focus on higher-value activities such as analysis, decision-making, and innovation. Efficiency improvement is not defined by the size of a project—every action matters. With the right tools and the right approach, meaningful value can be created from every improvement opportunity.
The program consisted of two key sessions: case sharing and collaborative workshops. During the case-sharing session, internal teams and external experts engaged in in-depth discussions on AI applications. The Information Technology Department introduced the Group’s overall AI strategy and roadmap. The Feishu team demonstrated practical applications including AI assistants, AI-powered multi-dimensional databases, and the Miaoda platform. FineReport experts shared insights into enterprise data governance strategies. Yida experts presented industry perspectives on the significant advancement of AI’s continuous working capabilities.
The Semiconductor Solutions Department shared its practical experience with the AI Customs Specialist Project. By leveraging human-AI collaboration, the project has helped reduce error rates and improve customs declaration efficiency, with the potential to expand across the Group and generate significant business value. The Human Resources Department also presented an AI-enabled certificate management case, demonstrating how Feishu’s multi-dimensional database capabilities can automatically extract certificate information and provide expiration reminders, significantly improving operational efficiency.
During the afternoon collaborative workshops, participants worked in groups to brainstorm around the six identified efficiency improvement areas. The teams developed project plans covering key scenarios such as cash cycle management, contract management, quotation processes, and compliance platforms, while defining project owners, key milestones, and implementation timelines. Going forward, the company will conduct further assessments, initiate efficiency improvement projects, and launch dedicated innovation competitions to track progress and encourage continuous learning.
Although the program has concluded, the journey has just begun. All participants are encouraged to bring the tools and methodologies learned back to their respective roles and continue exploring new opportunities for efficiency improvement.
In the era of AI, the key is not the size of the application scenario, but the willingness to take action; not the starting point, but the commitment to begin. With AI as a catalyst, Bondex will continue contributing innovation and expertise toward its mission of “creating greater value for the supply chain through global logistics services.”
